Ascendancy

Call it nostalgia if you wish,but I just had a quick one of this marvelous game.Even though I have galciv,and it beats ascendancy in graphics and AI,ascendancy still has the best feeling of all the turn based space strategies(it sounds almost like there are plenty of those).Unique and very interesting species,very complex tech tree,nice ships,and simple gameplay make this game a pure gem.Too bad its AI was so bad.But its nothing a patch cannot solve.And it dose.The only problem is that the patch came too late to save the game.

I also liked that game quite a lot. A while ago I read that Ascendancy II is being made, but nothing new recently. The Logic Factory website itself doesn't offer much information either.
