We had a four day weekend with our Independence Day Weekend so I was floating on a river eating meat off a grill and blowing stuff up all weekend. I'll try to post an update tonight or real soon. Bids in future lots can stand until an item sells. I go back to the last bid than was legally made. In the recent case, both a55a55in and DL made bids that would not work. So a55a55in ends up with the highest bid, even though his "current bid" during the update wouldn't fly. If anyone other than those two would have bid, they would have high bid. Anyone can still out bid them.

GC is right (kind of).
I can't really keep constant track of open bids. Only closed ones, so at the end of each lot, I update the cashflow. I leave it up to the players to police themselves. I will double check the bids, but I think the Soul Stealer bid was 15k by a55a55in before DL overbid and a55a55in came back over the top. During Lot #8 both bought items that prevented each of their last bids from being acceptable so the bid reverts to the highest legal active bid, which was a55a55in'5 15k bid. But... there were bids out for other items. If I get energetic, I'll check the bids to see if the active bids ALSO procluded a55a5in's 15K bid. I'm not too sure. Either way, if someone overbids on the Soul Stealer we no longer have an issue.
