HOMM4: Million-GP Auction
Sir William S Titan open's Pandora's Box!
I just sent tinkerbell over to let Sir William that he may now open the box. I've asked that everyone have all items you have purchased in the auction out and at the ready so we are ready for anything that comes out of the box.
Now I guess we just wait...
Looks like Sir William has put on his necklace of charm and has his sack of gold in his left hand and his purse of gold in his right.
Although I'm sure he swings the purse in a very mighty and manly way, I'm not sure hitting an attacker with money is a cost effective way of fighting a creature. In fact, I think that I might attack Sir William.
Everyone Quite!
(gravyluvr whispering) okay, it looks like he's going for the lever on the box.
Wait. What is it? Oh. He's got the box upside down.
Looks like he's going to turn it right side up now.
And...
He's opened it.
He jumps back! Purse and bag at the ready.
I don't see anything. Maybe there are spirits flying out of the box and they are consuming William.
(GRAVYLUVR YELLING) WILLIAM! ARE YOU DEAD?!?
(Sir William from a distance) Not Yet!
Gravyluvr: What's coming out of the box?
Sir William: Nothing Yet.
Gravyluvr: Those things usually have a whole slew of things coming out. Any feeling of spirits, ghosts, or elemental sotrms or anything.
Sir William: Nope! What a rip off! This sucks!
Gravyluvr: Well it is an auction. You pay your money and you take your chances.
Sir William: Well then I'm going to throw this box down this pit. Stupid box!
Gravyluvr: You bought it. Do what you want with it!
Sir William: Hey Gravy?
Gravyluvr: Yeah William?
Sir William: I get to keep the box and anything that comes out of it right?
Gravyluvr: That's right. Why?
Sir William: Cause I found this!
And with that... Angels started singing, trumpets blared, and a light shown bright as Sir William held up... The Grail.
Now I guess we just wait...

I remember someone paying an excessive amount for a dragon scale armor....DaemianLucifer wrote: Considering how I suckered agivefiveafivefivein into overpaying the ring,I think any bid that you can afford is valid, even if your opponent bids arent and you outbid him
