Isabel has one castle. You have like five. Who benefits more of the time passing? I couldn't win that fight at first, but after having walked Zehir around to max him out, Isabel was easy. To bad I didn't walk Godric around as well, he would have needed it.

I don't think Isabel trains her troops. I think her troops just add up abnormally (aka "cheating").

the toughest battle ever was against godrig. I was left with 100 skell archers vs 40 footman. I was pretty baddly surprices when i killed all the academy army and the haven army showed up.
