They added nothing, just tweak the existing things. The save/load button is just a changed function of existing buttons.Chaging the appereance is just replacing an existing model with another already existing model. But adding something thats not there, thats quite tough.Cunning Death wrote:I really don't know...I'm not a modder myself, just saw these mods changing unit appearance, adding bunch of buttons... might be possible that .pak file magic has even more depths
Haven't read all the thread, so sorry if somebody else already said this:
I'd like to have "just" or "even" as difficulty, where the AI gets as much income and creature growth as the player and does not discriminate between player(s) and other AIs as targets.
"Hard" is nice, but the AI is handicapped in its income and creature growth, OTOH it is picking on the player.
Weird, that they haven't thought of having a "just" (or whatever it might be called) difficulty.

expansion needs
allied maps for hot seat. besides the single player campaign I spent a lot of time playing the previous HOMM games with my friend on hot seat. we load up a large or x-large map and play as allies. I don't think HOMM 5 has one multi- player map that has a team against all computer players.. we were very disappointed in this.

The expansion should include:
-1 or 2 new factions
-lots of new maps(a lot bigger than the currently largest maps)
-bug fixing
-new artifacts
-random map generator
-more neutral creatures
-improvement on the game engine
-High Score list with creature rankings(hopefully included before any expansion!)
-a bunch of new spells
