Worst creature proposals

Unread postby Thelonious » 08 Jan 2006, 19:35

I noticed this one wasn't around, probably cause Veldrynus hasn't been around yet ;)

Yes, I know, the 'Silly names in HoMM V' thread is taking it's role a little, but it is actually a different subject.

So the most honourable mention:

The Giant Mutated Whale

(this is supposed to be spoken out with a loud thundering voice)

Yeah kinda the same, but one is about creatures that really are in HoMM V, whilst this one is about proposed creatures for HoMM V - or it's expansion.

This thread could hold the stupid proposals that were made for the 'disign a race' contest.

Well, the create-a-race is going on right now so it shouldn't
take too long before the list is updated

When did the MUTANT WHALE first appear? I don't hink I was around then, what's the history of this mytical beast?

I want a race of skunk-men that putrify their enemies with their terrible smell.

The mutated Gaint whale (as this majestic creature is known to it's true devotees) has always been and shall always be. However, the world first learned about this being, second in might only to the Flying Spaghetti Monster, in a post in this thread on the old RT forums. Read, ye heathen giraffes, and be awed. :creative:

By shear force of it mutadeness, it would of course be able to turn every enemy on the battlefield into krill, which it would proceed to devour, turning even more Gaint.

Well it has multitude of effects.Firstly, all of the creatures that have eyes are stunned for three rounds because they cannot stop laughing(friendlies are immune, since they got used to it).Secondly, all level one and two creatures have a chance to die laughing. And thirdly, those that survive have -5 on all of their stats because of the intesity of laughter that GMW caused. And,if there are any survivors left, they are going to be smashed when this gargantuan leaps on them.

Let's not forget the fact that the noble Giant Mutated Whale is a relative to the magical cyan dolphin (a character in the 10 word story on the old Round Table), who could turn wood into butter and steel into grape jelly.

Thanks for the history of the Giant Mutated Whale. It's, ah...fascinating. And I've seen the FSM thing, that's wonderful. I wants one o' them "I was touched by his noodly appendage" shirts...

I like UT's idea for a Half-Snail, that's a good one.

I still think that "Describe Giant Mutated Whale" would be a great game.So if you agree, join me at begging the great nazi...I mean the game summoner...I mean Kalah in allowing us just one more game just this once.

I think you'll have to describe how the game would actually progress. Other than that, I can't see any problem with the suggestion.

You post your descriptions, and at the end of each moth the selected group of judges decides which one is the best(alternatevely,we just make a poll). The winer shall get a drawing of his description as a reward. If the response is good, then we reopen the game for the next month.
