I failed to post this earlier, but congradulations for Deamian and Lucky Dragon for passing a 100 posts and becomming pixies.

Oh and a nogde for me for gaining 50 posts and reaching peasantry!

It is written in the Apocalypse, yes. Take a look at it written in Roman nubbers as they were in use in the first century AD: DCLXVI. However a few newly found very old copies of the Apocalypse show there something different: DCXVI. It id very probable that once upon a time a copist put additional L in between at it sticked since then. Sly devil! :devil: He managed to hide his real number which is 616!
It was cryptogram for name or one of roman legions responsible for securing the Megidon (hence Armageddon) by force (it was the 6th legion). As Bible is not coherent source of information it could be supposed that in different ages were meant different things. The BBC documents aren't going too deep to explain all of this ;))
