It's Here: The New Round Table
The new Round Table looks to be quite nice.
I have a suggestion. Perhaps you should consider different threads for HOMM1-4 rather than lumping them all together. As it is someone interested in only one of the games will have to sort through posts on all 4 games. Otherwise everyone needs to tag the topic they create by naming it, for example, "HOMM4: Help with Order map 2" or "HOMM3: Favorite Creature."

Frodo: "I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened."
Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."

roland,
We have a brand new ranking system, you'll just need to post to find out.

Re: It's Here: The New Round Table
I felt that at this point, there would not be enough discussions about Heroes IV to require a separate forum. The decision would probably have been different three years ago of course. A smaller number of forums makes navigation easier.Grumpy Old Wizard wrote:Perhaps you should consider different threads for HOMM1-4 rather than lumping them all together.

Here's hoping the transition will be a smooth one.

An idea:
Maybe it's possible to add a new subforum under "Site comments" called e.g. "Map archive" where people will be able to comment individual maps like it is possible for campaigns?

Thanks for your WELCOME; I'm just looking around in the NEW CHAMBER and guess, that I'll soon feel like home - and the Round table is so big, but I think there is a little place for me left.
(Sorry, Sauron, for the same avatar we have. But Astral has been my favorite, too, from the beginning.)

confused
I have only one thing to ask:
How on earth should I have learned of this new forum?!
I couldn't see it coming, did not see any posts, topics, anything on the other forum informing me of the move.
If Banedon did not send me a private message (regarding some posts and giving links), I would have never found my way here.
Great work, anyways, I like the new site.
One more question: what will happen to our old posts? Shall I have to archive them?

I did not look at it yet. Habit of reading news on CH first.
That's a wonderfully abstract kind of elite made Logo you made for all of us and, so corporate unique looking too(it already shows up into the address bar of my Rogers Browser. Fancy.)
I'm getting so used to keeping secrets, I forgot to announce the new Canadian Server being installed and powered up in Montreal, Quebec.
I seem to be a little too overworked these days. So many betas and, so little time to fully test them all. Ah well, everytime I get report a bug, it is such a big thing, its like as if I just got the worst one everytime. Man! I'm so darn good!
