patch installation problems

hey guys, I ran the patch installtion, and nothing changed. the game version did not update, no difference in the readme, etc. There is no indication in my system that I have the patch installed except for the fact that when i try to run the installation again it claims the patch to be already installed. Any help would be appreciated.

You don't have the demo still installed? I don't know, but the patchs might have been installed over it.

Do you know what version of the full game you are running? is it EU/US collectors etc? and as Gaidal Cain said, do you have any old demos or the beta still installed on your system?

I am running the Us Version regular, and I do not have the demo installed.

Did you get any errors when you installed the patch?

I did, and it turns out that even though I bought it through NewEgg (US), I got the European version, and the US patch would not work. The EUR patch DID work, however.

Nope, no luck there.
I'm quite certain I have the US version.

I just tried installing the US patch. I had the demo still on. Patch started ok but at the end it would not install.

I uninstalled both the demo and the regular program that I bought from gogamer.com.

Still no luck. I may try the European patch later.

Anybody figured out this problem?

Well, the European patch did apparently work. Seems rather odd.

I bought it in the US and I certainly did not pay in Euros.

It appears that my game from gogamer.com came from Australia.
The European patch seems to work, not the US. I am not sure where
gogamer is but I doubt they are in Australia.

They are selling it now for $30 and I wonder what their source is.
