No normal difficulty post-patch?

We now have an easy mode but no normal?

Or am I not seeing things correctly??

After applying the patch it defaults to EASY, but I was able to change it back to normal with no problems... it's there... at least on my v1.1.

In my version I only have Easy, Hard and Heroic difficulties too

it doesnt default to easy, after patching mine was set to Normal

lol...this is so stupid...they need to patch the patch..just like the freakin game, they release crap thats not ready for primetime..why dont they just take time and do it right the first time instead of doing halfassed jobs and jeopardizing their reputation and pissing off decades old fanbase? what irritates me also is that they seem to give preference in communication with their russian fans as theres been things that nival reveal in their russian forums yet they dont bother telling the rest of the world. ubi needs to drop nival for the next heroes imo..

So is it that just the US patch has the normal difficulty?They probably want to amend for late shipment and no special in limited edition

I checked last night and I have the Normal difficulty on the European Collector's. Several people have reported that problem -- I'm not sure what happened.

Well, for the record, I have the US Limited Edition. I had my game set to "Normal" difficulty.

Downloaded and installed the US v1.1 patch.

Next time I started the game did default to "EASY", but was easily changed to "NORMAL" (which was an option in my game).

Not sure about other folks having differant problems/results.

I have the European, standard edition, and it defaulted to Easy after the patch, but I had all 4 difficulties on the list to choose from, so I restored it to Normal (which is how I was playing)

didnt we come to the conclusion that the missing difficulty level was due to the person using a 1.0 no-cd crack? or is there fresh evidence its another bug from nival?
