For me Wizardry 9 was the game I truly would have liked to have seen made :( as Wizardry 8 was the best RPGs I ever played. :-D

Ultima X -- but the series started going downhill before turning into a MMO and a series of cancelled projects.

We also need a Knights of the Old Republic III, but I'm confident it will be made someday.
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

Ultima Underworld III.
I don't think they ever had any plans on making it, but I definitely would have played it if it was made.

Right now, Might and Magic 10. Hopefully I'll get to one day...

Hopefully finished too, unlike KotOR II.

That one is a close second, the wizardry series and M & M were the best RPGs, once the gold box series dried up. :S

I've only played Wizardry 8, but it was great. Perhpas a bit light on story, and the combat system is annoying at times (with the Cane of Corpus, I frequently found myself wishing my Ninja hadn't been quite so fast). I loved the original Baldur's Gate game, and Planescape:Tormant was fantastic. I wouldn't want a sequel to it though, as it would have been hard to follow up that awesomeness without it being lame.

Hard question... Chrono Trigger 3 ? Grim Fandango 2 ? And of course, Might and Magic X...

'The Everhood' or something similar - a sequel to the Neverhood and Skullmonkeys by Dreamworks. The Neverhood universe has tonnes of background to it, and it would be good to see the story continue.

Well Wiz 8 was the final part of a story that started in Wiz 6. They could have expanded it more in 8, but like so many other companies Sir-Tech was in its death throws and had to get it out of the door. The really sad thing was they spent more than 2 months trying to find a publisher. :(

They did a remarkable job then. Better than even NWC did with MM9. (Not that MM9 is nearly as complete as W8, just that it was made in a very short time).

Baldur's Gate 3 and Planescape: Torment 2.
But if these two are going to be made some day in the future, I doubt it will be in 2D and have at least 50% playability of the original games. Actually I believe only Black Isle could make them properly, but the company doesn't exist anymore and to gather all the people who made these two games and tell them to do the sequels is almost impossible

Ditto. Though even if they make it I doubt it will be a ‘real’ Might and Magic game.

Why don't you think BGIII will be made?

My vote, by the way, goes to Ultima X.

Besides Black Isle Studio's and Interplay having gone the way of the dodo or 3DO, there is no reason to suspect BGIII would not be made. ;)
