So that's where the money to make a finished game went; strippers (and I'm willing to bet, a substantial amount of vodka) *cue eyeroll at the tacky arrangement*

The concipiation of the dungeon suddenly makes a whole lot more sense. I guess, they're trying to make Homm5-conventions ehm... More attractive to the male eye.

And now we know where all the money for voice acting and cutscenes went....

"OMGWTFBBQ! Seriously, you really don't associate strippers with fantasy turn-based strategy games."

What, as opposed to real time strategy games? :P

It's their way of saying this homm is still a bare version, we're waiting for some patches and updates to adress to those problems. Or ehm, it's a stripped down version, compared to what they had in mind.

Men! What are you suggesting? Is it a porn game?

This is outrageously lame. There are better ways of advertising a product. As far as I have never respected Ubisoft with its ideas, now I'm sure that they don't deserve to own the brand name.

This time I agree with Monastor. Not everything actualy. I has nothing to do with the church and holyness. Heroes of MM is a great game, but not religiuos.

Strippers...ech, why put them in the main page? why put them at all? I don't even want to know how the guys at Nival worked.Dungeon and Academy were created the last anyway. That explains a lot.

I did not like the dungeon before, now I don't like it even more. :ill:

As for religion: I don't believe the Church. :devious:

ah... it's good to see the spirit of the Tyco corporation still abroad in the business world. Maybe we could just go back a few decades and have Playboy Bunnies serving the male managers grapes on Roman-style couches?

And where are the male strippers? Oh, wait, that's right: the point is to reinforce the notion that the company is an exclusively male domain, oriented toward male desire.

They don't advertise anything. They have a private party with strippers celebrating release of HV. Also, it's not Ubisoft, it's Nival. And ofcourse they deserve the brand name, paid a lot of money for it.

It other news, rumours for final patch are that we might have some orgy celebrations. Or I wish that, not sure...

I would say its proof that H5 has become less mature

I think this is kind of unnecessary. I mean, I have been trying to stick up for Ubi against complaints and stuff, and now they pull this. Even I cannot deny that this represents a ton of wasted time and effort.

Nival, not Ubisoft. I don't think Fabrice is too happy with this...

Actually I don't see what this really has to do with anything. I doubt any funds from the game went onto this, it has no impact on the game. It's a private party it's not how they advertised it or anything...

How nival chooses to celebrate their sucesses is up to them. I have friends that would celebrate just like that for their sucesses. It doesn't really showcase much else about there personality. (After all there's more than one way to react to any situation the tone of there celebration might not have been rampant sexuality as everyones assuming).

I might change my opinion if I knew where this was posted up for Angesplit to get hold of it though. Did Nival put this up on there own website? (then it has publicity implicaitons...)

@Nebs

There are some things that money can't buy... paying some cash doesn't make a game deserve its brand name
