I saw that no new evolution tread was made so i made a new one.

Even if I do love the H5 black dragon, I still have a soft spot for the one in Heroes 2.

Ooh, tough choice!

The H5 dragon is only okay, so he's out of the question straight away, since the other three are all so excellent.

The H2 looks very noble and heraldic, as has been noted before by someone, H3 looks great, but the H4 looks both great and exudes malice which I think a black dragon should be doing being an evil creature.

H2 pwns them all.

I think you used the Shadow Dragon pic for H5. And is it just me or does the H5 one have Elf ears?

I disagree! I think that the H2 one looks really bad, the H4 one is ugly, :D , and the H5 one doesnt catch my eye. So im going to, of cource, go with H3.

Voted HII because he is so dark and rough.HIV is too plastic.HIII is good as well.And isnt that HV picture just a sketch art?Im sure in game blacky looks a bit different(read worse).

They are similiar.

Hey really! The dragon has elven ears. They should be called Drelvs :D

I don't think it's a good idea to mix in-game graphics with concept art and a 3D model. Ideally, all the dragons should come from the same source, preferrably in-game.

Anyway, I like the H5 dragon.

The H2 Dragon... The other ones look good as well, but I was always scared to see the H2 black dragon on a battlefield...

off topic: but in the other game the black dragon was the king no question..it dosent look like it is that much better than the rest in heroes V..i this correct?

I think it is. But then that is also the case with the HoMM III black dragon.

The H2 drake pic is exactly how it looks ingame. And the H4 one looks exactly like that ingame, just smaller.

H2 and H5 are ingame shoots.
H3 and H4 are artistical, but they are the same as in-game.
