Heroes 5 complete edition more details?

Unread postby Dublex » 25 May 2006, 21:36

I just thought I would try and clairfy this, as the clarification post is still unclear, but does Heroes V complete come with the expansion packs as well, or does it as I suspect only come with the full versions of 1-5?

The reason I ask is because I'm considering getting the complete edition from amazon.co.uk and selling my old heroes 3 complete edition (with the expansions etc) and possibly my regular version of Heroes 5 as well.

first off, are you reffering to Heroes Complete? if so then yes, it does come with all games, 1-5, but i dont know if theyr all complete. I dont know when it will be released. Heroes 5 Complete, as far as we know, isnt even being planned at this point.

Apparently its available on amazon.co.uk now:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... 72-1217556

(the link maybe subject to change)

But I got the feeling that its just the games 1 to 5, and _not_ with the expansions.

To be honest I feel it maybe better and cheaper to buy Heroes 4 complete off Ebay.co.uk from I reputatable seller I found. I have Heroes 4, but want the expansions as well.

Manufacturer's Description:
"The Complete Edition contains all five Heroes of Might and Magic episodes, including the latest instalment - Heroes of Might and Magic V - and the entire versions of Heroes of Might and Magic 1 to 4."

Like I've said before elsewhere, the wording here implies that the Heroes 1-4 games come with all expansions (read: entire versions, pl.). I have ordered this edition from Amazon, and it is due to arrive any day now. When it does, I will tell you for sure what it contains.

Well, I've decided to risk it.

I've already got a copy of Regular 5, but I am sure I can sell it on ebay or something. If it just turns out to be just the games then I have them all in one place anyway, and if it does have the expansions even better.

Just for info

30 pounds = 43.8 Euros or 56 dollars (maybe 60 dollars with delivery etc)

I've ordered it express, so I should get it tomorrow before 1pm sometime (unless amazon.co.uk can't actually deliver on Saturday, which means their delivery promise is forfit as the fine print doesn't mention they can't do saturdays)

Looks great! Too bad we cannot order it from US. Still, please let us know what it contains (in terms of expansions esp.)...

Cheers.

Personally I just don't see why they'd sell them without the expansions built in, considering they no longer sell the expansions seperately...

Why does the Deluxe/Limited Collection come without the Expansion? Been trying to figure that one out too.

Considering that the H2 version that came with my Deluxe edition is described as "complet" (it's in French, as I got it directly from Fabrice), I wouldn't be sure about that. The plural probably is used for the different Heroes games- I, II, II and IV.

What would be nice is if it also included the Chronicles campaigns.
