From this we can for sure vote the Academy as the faction of ugliest creatures. But the vampires!!! They look ridiculous with that green skin, also the animation when they regenerate is stupid, and so on. The look like they're chinese vampires with green skin. Pity they were among my favourite units.
yes, vampires, imo, are very ugly. And also:

1- Djinns are awesome! how can anyone have anything against that look! ok, so the head is small and hands are huge, but they're not supposed to look human with blue skin and no legs, cause that would be frickin boring. theyr supposed to be humanoid, meaning resembling humans, and in my opinion they look great the way they are.

2- The gargoyles. ok, so theyr ugly, I agree, but Im sure we can all live with it.

3- How could you put the Rakshasa on your list of ugliest creatures? i dont see anything wrong with them. I dont think they look great, but i dont see any reason to call them ugly. the only thing I dont like about them imight be their name, but its better than any of the alternatives (Vibhishana/Ravana, anyone?)

and 4- The treants. how anyone could have ever liked the old, big, fat, square, rigid, and monstrous chunk of wood beats me, but the new one is quite nice, really. I cant really describe why I think it looks better, except for the fact that it is none of the adjectives mentiond above. it just looks better.

feel free to let me know why you think im wrong and what you have against my opinions, cause im inntrested to see how people could fing some of these creatures ugly/good looking.

Well, playing a little undead has come up with the following feelings:

Skeletons - useless. Useless to the max. Switch to archers ASAP which, in immense numbers, became very usefull - it's hard to kill too many of them and they still continue to deal out a moderate ammount of damage.

Zombies - protect those archers. Um... that's it. Relatively sturdy.

Ghosts - don't know whether to throw them at the enemy or not and whether their spectrality comes through. Still, pretty decent damage and all but nothing to be too happy about.

Vampire - ah! my good bat friend. Speedy, no retaliation and can heal/ressurect self. Very usefull if properly supported and excellent value at Lord level.

Lich - shame about the size but lovely attack. If only they were not such a tempting target for every man (mage etc) and his dog (cerberus etc) and died like flies.

Wraith - Big, decent damage. Nothing to get excited about though.

Bone unt Spectral Dragons - solid but not particularly meety and with no awesome skill.

The redeeming feature is necromancy with your hero and the raise dead spell which can be used to minimise casualties to the extreme.
