So why is everyone so down on Heroes IV? I love it! Personally, I think it is much better than III and I really enjoy being able to manage your own heroes and develop them far beyond the ways that they can be developed in II or III. The monsters for IV are great and you don't have to deal with those annoying upgrades for each beast. So what's the beef with IV?

Most players think the strenghts of Heroes IV are outnumbered by its weaknesses: bad AI, lack of balance, weak multiplayer... Personally, I cannot go back to Heroes III.

I'm unother unshakable H4 fan. I'm not sure if Angelspit's right on the "most" but certainly "many" aren't so hot on H4.

I guess since I mostly play campaigns and single adventures I have not run across the weak multi-player aspect. Also, the AI and balance problems are being fixed by Equilibris, so perhaps Heroes IV is not as bad as others think?

I had been a fan since KB, and I had loved all the series developed. I still like III the best, but I am also a big supporter of IV, I love developing an army of super heroes to fight my battles and the campaigns are really good.
