Pale, not purple. And ingame the DE's don't seem to have a diffrent color from the WE's.

True, but I can't possibly get any paler. My skin deflects sun I guess

Anyway I'm being serious here. The dark elves were once wood elves and had the same colour of skin I presume? I've read the story on www.heroesofmightandmagic.com and I don't recall reading why their skins changed colour. They can't just turn dark from living in darkness

Their skin DIDN'T change colour, they're just a bit paler. I think those Penny Arcade guys just played Warcraft or D&D too much
