I like to do all dungeons and collect all specialty items. This works for all dungeons regardless of the side you chose, except one .
The tomb of the master (dark monk promotion) is different. I know where it is, but can't enter it with a light party .
Is there a way to enter that tomb (and get hands of the master) with a light party ?

Not without modding or cheating. You also can't enter Setag's tower on the dark path, and the treasury part of Navan won't open on the light path. Also the two small houses are technically different areas.

Unfortunately, in the unmodded game, a Light party cannot access the Tomb of the Master without using one of the workarounds mentioned. I forgot about the navan treasure . the secret floor part is visible, but inactive .
I have a vague recollection that someone on TELP long ago claimed that a light party that stole the scroll of waves from the school of sorcery and had the journal excerpt message scroll from castle H subbasement in inventory could access the tomb of the master.
Could that be correct ?

No, the precise condition for the cave wall hiding the entrance to disappear is to have the Ninja promotion quest active, the scroll of waves is not really necessary. In fact, I think the wall reappears on Erathia respawn if the quest is already completed by then.

The "Hands of the Master" is an artifact -- That's not found in the Tomb of the Master. I think it's the "Shadow Mask" that's there.

I was indeed mixing up Shadow Mask and Hands of the Master.
So there are several things only available for one side :
Dark
Tomb of the Master + Shadow mask
Celeste small house
C. Navan Elven treasury
C. Gryphonheart - Alice Hargreaves room
Light
Setag's tower + Villains Blade
The Pit small house
That makes it impossible to collect all speciallty items or do all dungeons without modding or cheating.
A completionist will have to complete a playthrough with light AND a playthrough with dark .
So there are several things only available for one side :
