Hi groovy MM people.
Sinbad here from the old Castle Gobs forums (Might and Magic Tribute). It's been a while, and I hope you're all doing well!
First of all, Well done Rodril and crew, I absolutely love these amazing mods and have played them nonstop for the last few years.
That said, I have a problem that's been driving me a little nuts...
I'm running the latest version of MMMerge: "MM678_Merged_05.11.2023_gdrv.7z"
with the patch: "MMMerge patch 16.01.2024.7z"
and the Multiplayer Mod version: "Latest 14.01.2024/4"
I really want to play MMMerge Multiplayer with semi-unusual Race/Class combos, e.g a Troll Thief and Vampire Sorcerer for example.
By default this works great for the most part, however, it breaks my RP immersion that my Troll doesn't get Regeneration, and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get this working.
I recall this functionality being included by default in a prior version, before I updated to the Multiplayer mod, although I was probably using the race/class unlocker, Revamped version and/or some other community branch.
I've tinkered with the Data/Tables/Race Skill.txt to give Trolls "E/1/0" regeneration, but can't find anywhere in-game to learn the regeneration skill.
I've tried creating my own "MMMergeSettings.lua" in the root directory since one wasn't being created automatically, and inside it, I've made sure to add "Merge.Settings.Character.AutolearnRacialSkills = 1" however, this doesn't appear to have any effect on character generation. (It's probably not even being read...)
I've finally come to terms with the fact I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, so if anyone can help, it would be very much appreciated!

Update: So it turns out I actually can learn Regeneration from *some* Temples... whoops.
Can Vampiric ability, Dragon and Dark Elf also be learned somewhere?
Also, I'm still very curious if there is a way to enable auto-learning racial skills at character creation.
