MM8 help!

In Alvar, I have cleared the orge fortress and all the ogres outside, but I still couldn't complete the quest, as they say there are some ogres around. But I look everywhere, not a soul.

Is this a bug?

Have you been to the dungeons below? There's a secret button, as usual, that will open the entrance.

Also, you might need to go into and out of the fortress before the game will recognize that you've defeated the ogres...

Have you taken the ogrea up in the mountains behind Alvar city?

Done all of that. Gaidal was right, somehow the script must have tripped when I exit the fortress. When I went back and out again, then it shows I've killed all ogres.

Hey there!

For all of you playing in the years 2020's on platforms like GOG, I'll reiterate the answer : you need to leave and come back and leave until you see "You have killed all the ogres" appear once you leave the dungeon.
