Hey all! It's HeroOfPunk here!
I just wanted to let you all know that I, on a mission from Celestial Heavens, interviewed Tim Lang, lead designer of Might and Magic IX. Now a days, he runs DungeonByte, which is currently working on a game called Aeolwyn's Legacy, which is really interesting for anyone who enjoys Might and Magic!

We ended up talking for over 2 hours, which lead me to split the video up in 2, so for now, you will have to settle for the first part, the second part will come out soon! I tried taking as many questions possible from you guys, the community, because you all deserve to get your voice heard.
So, this marks the first video for our Celestial Heavens YouTube, don't forget to SUBSCRIBE!
What did you think of this first video? Who would you want us to interview and what are you hoping for in part 2?

I just watched the whole thing. Very fun! Good ol' Tim is at it again. I'm Sibernethy btw, the guy that does testing for Aeolwyn's Legacy.

Watched a part of it and felt nice the vibe coming from it. The game looks pleasingly nostalgic. Hopefully, it'll have some new mechanics implemented to make it refreshing also.
Is the UI definitive, I wonder?
And I would point out that the banner lettering could use an improvement. It's not very easy to read, specially because letters are very thin and spaced, and typography's not very friendly either (the Aeolwyn's name, I mean). Would suggest making it denser as if etched on metal or stone and rearrange overall elements. There's not a real necessity to occupy almost all the screen, if the game's logo is clear and strong.

This was a great interview! I'm looking forward to Part 2 and having Tim talk more about the development of Aeolwyn's Legacy!
I especially loved Tim's Dungeons & Dragons story at his work. I also loved his story regarding BrappGames/DungeonByte.
