Hey!
I am looking for a good and, above all, gentle electric shaver. I've already done a little bit of reashearch and found a few shavers that I want to take a closer look at. On the one hand, I like the Braun Series 9 9090cc very much and, on the other hand, the Philips PT860 is also nice. You can find both Electric Shavers here: https://productz.com/en/electric-shavers
Can someone help me and tell me more about these two shavers? Of course, only if you personally tried them. I am also open for other suggestions.
Many Thanks.

Re: Wich Electric Shavers?
I've had both Braun and Philips shavers.
My experience with Philips is that it's pretty good but the blades quality degrades quite fast.
Discovered Panasonic a few years ago and am very satisfied with that.
Currently using a small Braun for the mustache area and a multi bladed Panasonic for the rest

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

Re: Wich Electric Shavers?
I prefer Braun, personally. I like shavers with a straigh end, not the triangular ones with several rotating blades.

Re: Wich Electric Shavers?
I just happened to have moved from rotating blades to a straight Braun and I second Kalah's comments.
I have a model with a self-cleaning base and I like it, although I wonder if replacing the fluids will get expensive over time.

I have the Phillips One Blade. It's amazing compared to the price.
Re: Wich Electric Shavers?
I have one of those and I have a trick: since it's spiritous, it will evaporate. Therefore, I don't clean the blade after every use, instead I only use the cleaner when the "clean" symbol lights up, and I store the boxes with fluid separately with the lid on. Once the cleaning is finished, put the lid back on and put it away. I did have some problems finding new fluids for purchase since Amazon and such shops don't always ship to Norway, but it should be better in bigger countries. Finding replacement parts was harder.Angelspit wrote:I have a model with a self-cleaning base and I like it, although I wonder if replacing the fluids will get expensive over time.

Re: Wich Electric Shavers?
I heard about the evaporation issue, but surprisingly my first cartridge was still acceptable after two months, when I discarded it. I run the cleaning cycle once every 2 or 3 days only, so that might help.
I got a 3-pack for $22 CDN, which isn't too bad. I'll look for a better deal next time.

Regardless of the price, I'll prefer Braun, you may interested of its review https://docsbay.net/braun-series-9-9090 ... haver-good

I have been enjoying the One Blade. It's a Phillips stuff. It makes a fair job with facial hair and body hair, which I often use it for. You can use it while taking a bath as well.
