I've been okay. Really miss the whole Might and Magic crowd. Got all teary-eyed-nostalgic when I decided to see if my one-time favorite online forum was still active. Glad to see it is.

Still play Heroes 4 on my computer. Used to be able to play MM6-7-8 too, but when my computer was serviced, and a new graphics card fan installed, it messed up the animations in MM6-7-8. Like if I shoot a goblin, the shot just freezes in the air. Can't play it at all.

I read somewhere that this year is the 25th anniversary of Might and Magic. Would be cool if the whole gang came back to the Round Table to celebrate.

Welcome back, HP! If you are having problems by playing MM6-8, you could try grayface's mod or something on those lines. It might be that you could play them. I could play not long ago, MM 6, 7 and 8. But my copies are from GoG.

Other than that, few of us are still posting here more often, but more might be still lurking, hidden, ninja-like and posting a little less, like Pitsu there!

I used to be able to play on my present computer, but about 5 years ago, I had a faulty graphics card fan replaced and when I got my rig back, the animations in MM6 froze the game. Probably a simple fix, but being totally non-technical, I don't know how to fix it without taking it back to the shop and spending another several hundred dollars.

Maybe someone can instruct me to a quick tweak which would reset my graphics card settings. Meanwhile I dream of Might and Magic days gone by.

You should be ok just with reinstalling game drivers. What about other games are they running fine?
What graphic card do you have?

It could be also damaged card, if you replaced that fan too late.

Well, you know. Got family and a kid, moved a few times but still being the same. So inside nothing, outside quite a few things..
