Unofficial H7 Expansion: Wryn Pendragon Umbramancer First Open BETA Announced

Almost two long years have passed since the official end of H7 development, which makes the situation around it clear: There is no chance we would get any more add-ons... in the official way at least.

Since that critical moment, we've been working on our Wryn Pendragon: Umbramancer Project. Finally, here comes the first Open BETA version, launched on August 24th.

What can you be eagerly anticipating every single moment during the upcoming three weeks before that Day D comes?

• Brand new Xel faction with its own town, creatures and heroes
• Over 30 new creatures including the return of powerful dreaded bosses
• Special game mechanics: Alchemy skill enabling you to create your own potions
• Specially developed Dynamic Weather System, making every combat different and challenging
• Three singleplayer campaigns, set in a brand new world Mondalar

Very good and all but is there any reason the video's still picture is a half-naked ridiculously proportioned babe with a volley ball? Will there be bikini babe units?

She is from the "faraway planet" where proportions are... well... very unproportional

Really weird idea to have the regular and upgraded units have totally different abilities and roles, often even looks.
And the designs look out of place from the HOMM universe, even the H7 one. They look more like they belong in a Resident Evil or Silent Hill game.

That feeling is completly right! They are from different universe (or at least the "primal entity" that corrupted all other life forms), so this was indeed intented

Should there be an interest in another mod/expansion, the classic faction(s) would be: Sanctuary/Naga and/or Inferno/Devils.
