Oh, hello! I suggest you to write on the first post some of the main features of your mod, so people will learn about it before downloading it. ;)

From the images one could see that the sorceress has been replaced by Kreegans. Town lineups are somewhat altered and certain graphics got recoloured and a few redrawn. Considering the original style of campaigns, I guess there are no changes in those maps. Downloaded the mod, but have not had time to play yet.

If the author wants more feedback of perhaps to work further, a good place to post this mod could be http://heroes2.forumactif.com/f2-general-modding

Hey! Nice work. Quite a memento this damn game. Honestly I've never managed to understand why this jewel had been overlooked by modders... till now!:D

Amazing progress! I found only windows H1 on my harddrive, and although the mod installed without errors, not all new graphics appear. But I'll try to find a DOS version to test it out.

There will be any further plans for knight lineup ?
Also it must be from GOG ? For example, H1 from gold version will work ?

The biggest English site about Heroes 1 modifications ( http://www.h1.acidcave.net/mods_%26_utilities.html ) ignored me because I had an account there before and they don't like me. If my modification was just a forum topics, no one could find information about it through Google. Why should I do something if people who are interested won't know about it?

Most people host their mods at moddb.com or hommdb.com and then link from all fan forums. Like ours, hc, heroes2 forum etc. Nothing is lost, if you were refused by AcidCave, although I don't know the reason, possibly after some time you can settle it with them. (But it's a question why they don't like you).

If you will do it that way, you will be almost independent and get feedback. And people will find you via google, bing, yandex..

It's important to interact with people, when taking care about your mod. As it's that one thing which can push you forward. ;)

I received no contact from Morglin, nor do I know of any message sent to the main author of our H1 section.
So I deny Acid Cave refusing anything.
Morglin didn't even ask.

We know about the mod, but honestly nobody even thought about updating our site with mods (although we did have different opinions on whether to post a news about it on the main site). We probably would wait for the final version, though.

Also, although Morglin made the exact same move about 3 times at Acid Cave (that being deleting all his posts when something didn't go his way) and despite calling me all kinds of rude words, I honestly, truly have no idea what is Morglin's problem with me and / or the site.

That said, I would love to see the mod developed further, no matter the site or forum of the author's choice.
