Hi guys,
I just discovered that you can get your recovery time for bows below 30. For melee it's locked at 30, which is very fast already.
My darkelf has a recovery time of 5 now.
According to this, a party of 4 dark elves and one cleric (for casting light magic buffs) must be the most op party you can get.

Edit: I reached a recovery time of 0 by now. It must be due to these two artifacts. Without these getting below 30 will be tough but I think still possible.

For some reason it's possible to get bow recovery below 30 in MM8, but not in MM7. I've noticed this too. Grandmaster bowmen of skill 20 and above fire those arrows like mad. No idea why it's so, probably a bug.

Even with Greyface's patches I've gotten it down to 5 in MM7 and 0 in the MM8. In the NWC unpatched version it's 0 for MM7 as well.
The 30 limit is for melee only.

But for some reason it's still way easier to get this in MM8. In MM8 your chars seem to be attacking way faster anyway. Probably there's more "swiftness" enchantments available on gear, and that's the reason.
Re: MM8 bow recovery time below 30 (with video)
That's correct, it's not nearly as hard in MM8. In MM7 the way to 5 (or 0) almost always requires abusing the Eeofol well and raising Bow skill past 40. In MM8 not only are there a lot more Artifacts with Swiftness, but the Master Bounty Hunter quest creates a ton of levels by itself with it's 1.2 million experience reward. It's much harder to get to level 80 in MM7 whereas that happens all the time in MM8.
