another game black chest will not open

In training hall. Two days ago with anothet toon it opened ok.
Now i can hear the click sound i cen see the lid move yet i cannot access it like all other chests.

What could it be?

Edit - chests in dragon cave open and r empty. This is beginning of the game. I have no artefacts .

You can't play MM9 with more then 1 team. It is because minisaves, which are bugged and don't allow to simultaneously play two or more games.

To fix empty chests, You can always delete files in minisave [/b ]folder (to reset oustsides/dungeons), but I can't tell you, if this workaround won't break something else.

Deleting minisaves has always worked perfect. But not this time . I guess something someplace got corrupted.

i reinstalled and started from scratch.

this time only gog version + windowed mode. No other fixes.
