Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
Downtime or slowdown?
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.
Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
Downtime. Happens to me too, in example I'm editing a post then press Submit then can't access the site for around 20 minutes.

Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
Happened again, just now. Unable to access forum for another 20 mns, logged out. Unable to find server message.
Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
OK the downtime issue is starting to get annoying, I didn't mind when it happened occasionally once in a while but now is a few to several times every day.
Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
Ok Galaad, I found your problem and possibly others too who were receiving downtimes and changed our firewall configuration. You should not be getting temporary ban cause of too many http connections. Value was raised a bit. Let me know.

Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
Great news! I'll let you know if I still encounter issues, let's hope I stop posting in this thread.
Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
Aside the downtome issue which got fixed, there still is the remaining problem of having to wait a consequent amount of time everytime I post or edit to see it once logged out.
Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
Means that if you post or edit you are being logged out? After how long period of time? What do you see after that, what skin?Galaad wrote:..there still is the remaining problem of having to wait a consequent amount of time everytime I post or edit to see it once logged out.

Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
No it means when I log out I have to wait between 1-10 minutes or so to see my post appear if posted or the changes to take effect if edited.
I see the "orange pumpkin ubuntu" skin when logged out, I guess that is normal, although sometimes though quite rarely I come across the default php (skinless).

Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
That's weird. You're talking about some kind of slowdowns?
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.
Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
@Galaad
Yes, that was reported before but I was never able to simulate it. How often that happen to you?
Edit
One more thing, did Ctrl+F5 correct the issue (hit after you are logged out)?

Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
It happens everytime I post or edit, and refreshing the page doesn't do anything.
Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
It's been 2 or 3 days I can't browse the forum normally. Each page takes forever to load, same with login. Just to post this message it took me 20 mns, I think there is something wrong with your server.
Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
Same here - main page, forum, topics, login page (read: all CH and Round Table) - I need wait at least 30 seconds to load them (usually much longer). There seems to be problem with connection, because when page is found, it is loaded immediately.
Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
Yes, we're aware of it and we're trying to find the cause.
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.
Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
it's been like this the past few days making it hard to get my daily dosis of CH, this is..
wait a sec.. you didn't just send out a new patch now, did you..?

Hehe not as far as I know. Pol mentioned something about the Chinese, I hope it's not another hack.
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.
Re: Report Site&Forum Bugs [since Aug'15]
Working better, although after I log in main page shows me as logged out, but at least pages load correctly now.
