H4: Is this possible?

Hi! I don't remember exactly how I did it. I used this thread and post of UndeadKing from 1 page to replace main menu picture. To replace music I used Wandering theme given also here because changing bits in music file isn't so easy for me. I remember that main menu picture must be in raw format and in proper RGB coding - I mean the proper coding is different that RGB - maybe its GRB or GBR, I don't remember. You must just improvise I think.

Duzeom, thanks for your answer, but I have one more question: what programs did tou use to convert into .raw with the right palette? I am still stuck with black screen instead of my image and I don't know how to solve this problem.

Irfanview has this feature.

Which version? In my Irfan it no works... Irfan dont see bitmap.raw extracted from game.

Hmmm I checked it and actually IrfanView doesn't read raw files, but it can swap colors in bmp.

I don't remember what program I used, maybe gimp maybe other one, but I bet there are free program which read raw files. If you know python or have a hex edit you could easily make a bmp from a raw by adding bmp header.

EDIT: after writing this post I reminded myself that Irfanview has a plugin for raw files.

Is this possible to change and/or add new prologues/epilogues images and voices in H4?

Baronus managed to change the Splashscreens (pro/epilogues).

Namerutan also manged to do so, using another method. I guess that will have to follow later on, though..
I guess voices must be sound files found somewhere in the main h4r file. I guess you could change them the way the others managed to change the music. The words that scroll down, can be found in one of the text files. On how to edit the text, have a look at Taro's guide:
