Necopolis campaign-Wages of Secrecy

I figured out that the only way to get to the first whirlpool but I had to leave a boat behind and go around. After a little while an Al hero picked it up was that suppose to happen?

Just keep walking around and chart the territory. You should find a town or two you can take. Check out the walkthrough.
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.
