Honestly, I need more information guys. If you report delay, try to add:
* fine time when it happend, including time zone
* how long was the delay
* any error on the screen
* it was quick posting or normal posting
* other pages on forum are loading fine/not
* other pages on main site are loading fine/not
* what skin you are using?

There's always some minium, beyond that is almost unsolvable. Until you aren't class Prophet Technician.

TY:)

OK I think problem is skin-related, no delay when logged in, delay when logged out. I tried to change the skin to see if there was a difference then was unable to access the website for half an hour or so.

Round Table, then chSilver, then Round Table again.

My last post in Hangman had no delay, first time this happens since I reported, but I had to go twice with this quick reply here, website inaccessible for around 15 minutes right now..

I wonder if I am the only one experiencing these issues, but it's no big deal I can live with it. :)

Edit: No delay for this post either.

I don't know if you did anything but the delay seems to be totally fixed now.

Hint for you Galaad, not only. Don't wait for site loading and hit "ESC". There I think that it's comabination of internet connectivity and way how the pages are cached. Shortly said, if connectivity is good it will never happen. When is not (meaning whole route, from our server to your PC) the page is not completely loaded and waits for being refreshed from cache. Which probably happen after long delay, due to connectivity problem.

I think it has something to do with my adding articles and editing them too quickly. I got timeouts today too, just after I tried editing several articles on the main site.

For what it's worth, I think I rarely got any sort of slow down here. Sometimes I have to log in again, but you already explained why it happens.

When I am logged and add new post, everything is allright. However when I log off right after that, forum doesn't show me my new post. It takes a while to update main page/topics.

EDIT:
Time 11:42; 11:47 (UTC+1)
Delay ~15-20 minutes
Style: chSilver (both when logged and not logged)
Post Reply
no errors and loading times for other pages is fine

EDIT 2:
After logging off I can't see my recent edits (post will be updated eventually) and forum shows me, that I'm still online ("online" text right of avatar), even when user panel shows that I logged off ("log in" text).

EDIT 3:
12:15 (UTC+!) - no delay now.
12:17 ...and it's back. :|

Yes Avonu is describing exactly the same problem I'm having. Only difference is that I use the Round Table style. My delay is shorter too.

A supplementary question for these having delays, what OS are you using? Could it be Windows 10? Upgraded or new installation?

Depends on which computer I'm at, either Ubuntu or Win 7 Ultimate. I see no difference regarding the issue whether I'm using one or the other.

Also maybe worth mentioning: if I clic directly on "latest post" to access straight away I do not see my post, while if I add the step to enter the subforum, then clic on last page, I can see it. Same goes if I edit a post.

Also, the forum (and site) had a small down down time like 20 min ago... what was up with that?
