If you want to try your mapmaking skills, but do not want to be restricted by any particular themes or map sizes, you may wish to participate in a Heroes IV map contest recently announced by the Equilibris mod developers. Participants will have access to an improved map editor shortly after the release of the upcoming Equilibris 3.6.
