It is about habit, than it is faster. As first you see the text, afterward its author. For small resolutions, you will see avatars on the top - as this is responsive template.

I'm quite used to it all already. Although I would prefer a dark gray scheme, whenever one is made available in due course. :)

@TT
If you are literate you can read who speaks as a first thing. Each post is introduced by "by Article Author" short notice.

I have no idea about that icon, perhaps you see something what others don't? You may always show it here. Anyway it wouldn't be question for me.

How many degrees do you have in your country, there is just nightly 37°C

Be well!

PS There will be other skins, like on the old board, if God give us even more. At this moment, though patience is virtue.

Squinting is less then ideal.

I have CH on my bookmarks toolbar in FF, and it used to have the weird CH symbol icon... now it's just four differently coloured paperclips or something arranged in an X shape... php symbol maybe?

The CH symbol is in the FF toolbar for the forum, but not the main site as yet.

I think it's going to take a while to get used to this new look.

Yes, I kinda guess that it will. Meanwhile new look will be trying to suit better human perception. In the grand finale it will be better than previous look. There will be more variants anyway, long way ahead. :)

@TT
favicon.ico we use everywhere the same, meaning CH only, but if you refreshed like before yesterday, there was default joomla icon. There's a little of favicon magic but with help of some time passed and Ctrl+F5 and creating new bookmark, our classic icon will eventually reappear for you. The problem is that your browser cache it.

I think is a problem there is a lack of homogeneity between main page (celestialheavens.com) and the forums. I also don't think I like the orange/default theme, sigh.

The main page is nowhere close to being finished yet either. I hope you all understand that this whole thing is a process that takes some time; we decided to roll out the forums as soon as they were functional, and to focus on getting everything to work before focusing on looks.

Look on the bright side: you can now witness the process. :)

Which boardstyle do you prefer?

Unread postby Galaad » 24 Aug 2015, 20:43

I know there's more coming, but I'm curious about this. Personally I think the RoundTable is the best by far, what do you guys think?

Mine is orange offline too. It reminds me of pumpkins - one of my favorite foods. 8|

It seems the only difference between the silvers are the text sizes.

I use RoundTable - I based it on Robenhagen's old Igloo design.
