I dont' remember my H3 very well anymore but I think attacker is gonna crush the defenders. Mass berserk with the right spell immunity removing artifact (there's one that lets you cast mind spells on those normally immune right?), Armageddon's sword, anything that can deal 2250 mass damage in one shot would do it. For all you know the attacker has defense 99 and the defender has attack of 0. After all, there's no way the AI will ever attack you with the army he's got, so attacker has got to be the human player making a rational decision.

Yeah, trouble is - in the Tablet version, the game crashes if you try to melee attack the catapult or any war machine...
