In addition to current you can also view <i>upcoming</i> deals, which is a good thing in case you're looking for a game or something; it means you can check now and not bother re-checking for deals constantly.

Some 'cunning' smart-ass online companies around here put old prices higher than what they were and PRETEND they sell for less. Uncountable examples have been seen, specially regarding electronics. It's somewhat hard finding honest national sales that day.

Yeah, that happens here too, albeit rarely. The reason is that it is illegal, and shops found to do it are usually crucified in the newspapers.
