H7: Wizards Armies
Well the Wizards did create Harpies in Ashan. So maybe they used that design for the gargoyles they bring to life. Art depicts life in Ashan.
Although they are quite elegant, I do prefer old-style gargoyles, like those atop Notre-Dame Cathedral.
Cabirs are cute. I don't know, this is the cutest line-up ever in Heroes history. Almost all units you might want to cuddle and hug.

Now they have descriptions of abilities. Gargoyles can be repaired and are immune to magic. Quite much more valuable than H5 one, which were usually usable as blockade, cannon fodder and ... something to stop shooters from shooting.
