Dear Heroes,
A new kind of vote was integrated on the Heroes VII Dev Blog, all players can choose between two different Sulvan Townscreen:
The first townscreen represent the forest sanctum,, a majestic temple dedicated to the Earth Goddess.
The second one is Tree Island, a gigantic city built directly into a tree.
You have still 2 days to vote and influence the final result on <a href=https://mmh7.ubi.com/en/blog/post/view/ ... -1">Heroes VII Dev Blog</a>

H7: Vote for Sylvan Townscreen 1
Deep forest, as in the area around Lake Superior?

I was thinking Mirkwood, but yeah. Point is, the Elves suddenly have to have their town near a lake?
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.

Because it's a good spot to go skinny dipping and also makes a good excuse to go to war when some smelly dark elves start polluting the water.
Besides Kalah, don't act like you've never dreamed about living in a tree.
Anyway, I think this artist has good examples that match what sylvan should be like

I do not see why they are restricting this to one screen. If the town is near a lake, swamp or shoreline then use one otherwise the other. Even in H-IV the town screen differed with the terrain location of the town. Granted it was just coloration, but still one would hope tech has advanced enough to at least keep what has been done.

I won't vote this time. (taking the luck that the first time my choice was selected)
I cannot shake away the feeling, though, that Moonlight will make it feel like Dungeon. The town could be in a cloudy or a rainy day for a change. Rain surely feels like a peaceful thing, in a forest. And rainbows, lots of rainbows.
