If dungeon wasn't elves, it would be an easy decision. But because dungeon is elves, it's an easy decision. There's enough elves - no more. :tired:

Inferno was a fine faction throughout HoMM 3, 4 and bits of 5, but then so was Dungeon. I have no real preference either way, and am abstaining.
I'm a hypocrite because I suggested that all life is sacred and should not be wasted without good reason.

Inferno. We already have a lot of elves :|

Official vote % doesn't seem to be changing. Looks like it's going to be dungeon, but I hope we don't get purple sex elves.

Can't we just make them a minotaur/gnoll/beastman race and call it good... :(

No dark elves are better; and what is wrong with sexy Drow; it is a feature of the female of the race.

Oh really; seems more telling of the human male race than the female drow race ;)

They can make minotaurs with slanting eyes and long pointy ears. Or make bull-faced sexy elven chicks. er...hum wait a sec... :|

This is fairly close to the orcs?

And elves are fairly close to elves. ;)

Speaking of which, I'm not sure why they're even called orcs. They don't look pig or goblin like and lore says they're related to demons.

You need to read more on the Drow; http://neverwinter.wikia.com/wiki/Drow. Now I do not mean that this aspect needs to be in the game; but they are what they were written to be. :D I would be happy if they have appropriate portraits and animations without offending the average player. This is a small works. I read dozens of papers on various aspects of the Drow and a few books by or the books by R.A. Salvatore for background material for my unfinished H-IV campaign, but I do not claim to be an expert. Adding sex in the H-7 would be inappropriate.

Well, if they make the Dungeon like Beastmen faction in Master of Magic, it would actually be pretty cool.

I'm not sure if they are going to actually continue the lore from Heroes V-VI, but Inferno/Demon seem more like Outsiders to me. Sure, they come here and there, perhaps by conjurations. But entire occupation force ? Where will that go ?

It's set before heroes 5 but after heroes 6. It's definitely in the same lore and world.

Dungeon should be lizard-people (not nagas) faction for H7 with all the reptilian units it has. It's like a combination of real Fortress  and Dungeon.
