Anything New on the HOMM Series?

Anything New on the HOMM Series?

No new maps. No talk of new expansions. Not even any hint of rumors! Feeling like the series is dead, or at least dying when we finally have a good interface and even reasonably good game play (though plenty of other faults like user-community expandability).

Is anyone hearing anything out of Ubisoft??

From what we're hearing, there are no plans for expansions or further DLCs. The patching program has ended and the dev team that took care of the work (Limbic) are now working on MMX.

Since there are so few maps being made, H6 looks all but dead. Certainly there are no new developments coming any time soon.

Maybe after Age of Wonders 3, ubisoft can have some ideas to use in Heroes 7...

JVC said he "wanted to make another one" in an interview. Why don't they make it happen?
