Shame on you Kalah. "Few" is 1-4. "Several" is 5-9. You call yourself a Heroes fan. :disagree:

If you bought every game, you would have to pay "lots" of money. 8|

Can Heroes 2 Gold run on the internet for multiplayer gaming? I read about the Gog versions. And they did not answer the question.

The original 1996 H2 only worked through a 56k dial-up modem to the other players house. That was online multiplayer back then. Is it still that way in the Gog version?

Setting up 56k modems is sort of a pain and too retro. But I guess, one can go to goodwill and get an old Pentium computer just to play H2 online with a friend. ):

Doesn't it also work over TCP/IP? I know there were HoMM2 MP threads on the forums somewhere.

I'd buy the older ones only for nostalgic reasons. But for 5 bucks, they should either bundle HoMM1 with the original King's Bounty (optimized) or bundle 1 & 2 together.

Unfortunately GOG's sales are just not as good as some other stores unless you buy an entire bundle. A bit disappointing from a consumer standpoint. They had this Heroes bundle for $17.44 last week (I'm guessing they may repeat it on the final day of the summer sale):

but I don't want to get it just for Heroes 3 Complete, which I have on disk anyway.

Yeah, the bundle must have been for one day only? I saw it, passed it on and then...gone.

It's been years since I've used it but over at www.kali.net They say you can play HOMM 2 over their service.
