<img src="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/images ... wshorn.jpg" align=left>The developers of MMX invite the fans to participate in the making of the new game, <i>Might & Magic X: Legacy</i>. By going to <a target="_blank" href="/https://mightandmagicx-legacy.ubi.com/o ... blog">this page</a>, you can stay in close touch with the dev team and both see quick announcements and vote for in-game features:
<i>"We’re writing this blog because want to give you a detailed behind the scenes look at the production of Might & Magic X – Legacy. Experience the ups and downs of the development process along with us, and watch as the game thrives and prospers. Also, we’d like to ask you for feedback: influence the shape and design of the game directly by sending us your ideas and suggestions."</i>
In sharp contrast to earlier policy of information control and containment, this seems a revolutionary move from Ubisoft. It seems they will take the leash off the Limbic developers and let them involve fans directly in the game-making process.
Only time will tell whether it works in a way the fans like. For now, though, there is only one thing for true M&M fans to do: get involved.

fantastic idea by the developers, and they've already got quite a bit up there.
Hopefully they continue to support the site, i guess this would only happen if lots of people sign on to it!

I just spent about 45 minutes poking through there. IF they actually follow through with it, I will be a “Happy Camper.” And the “Vote on a Dungeon” idea is… unique! (?)
It is actually a way for those fans who don’t have the connections needed to become Testers to get involved in the game design. (Not on anything Major, but it is better than sitting around and picking one’s… um… Nose, while waiting for someone else to decide what we will get.)

I think this is a very good idea to get people interested in the game. For me this was the sort of thing lacking. I am a backer of Project:Eternity and Torment, and the fact that the developers of those games give regular input keeps fans interested in the game. I think if Limbic goes this direction, it can only work positively.
