Using Monotype Corsiva as the standard font was one of the worst visual design decisions made for Heroes 5. It's a nice font for invitation cards and such, but it's just totally out of place and unreadable for longer texts. The game text probably looked much better in the Cyrillic (Russian) original.

A Free Lunch
We have played hundreds of scenarios and campaigns, beginning with Heroes I through Heroes V and have never been able to get mana cost for spells down to zero. How did Peredhil do it?

How did he do that? Ways to reduce mana costs I can think of.
-Arcane training for a 20% mana cost reduction.
-Ring of the ? (I forget it's name, Sarellas perhaps?) that cuts mana cost for all spells in half.
-Week of Magic or of Might and Magic for a 50% mana cost reduction.
I didn't think week of Magic stacked like that for a 0 mana cost on everything, or is it only really cheap spells that get a 0 mana cost? Do Summon Phoenix/etc still cost some mana?

Ring of Sar-Issus(-50%),Arcane training(-20%) and archmages (-25%).I don't remember exactly, but I guess a week of might and magic occurred too.Only lower spells cost 0,but lv 5 spells were also very cheap .
Hard work is good for soul, but ale is better.
