You dont say
The "X" appearance coincides with upcoming PAX show, so I'm with the author of the article. You can't put up the "X" on your site and then go silent for a few months, it would sound like old news if announced at E3. I also think that PAX has grown to have a lot of media attention, almost as much as E3.
My patches: MM6 MM7 MM8. MMExtension. Tools. Also, I love Knytt Stories and Knytt Underground. I'm also known as sergroj.
I think the message saying "Meet us at PAX East" below the big X on the original page could not be more clearGrayFace wrote:The "X" appearance coincides with upcoming PAX show, so I'm with the author of the article. Yep. And you could probably start to follow Limbic's page as well.
Oh and by the way, there is a demo station set up at PAX, for those of you who are going.

pretty generic fantasy names, if you ask me.Variol wrote:What's "Duel of Champions"?
..and "Shadows of Darkness???" Are you kidding me???
reminds me of porn movie names, "The Dark Hole of Ur-Anus" or "The Dong Gobblers from the Shadow Clans of Mexico II" and such.

It's an online card game, yes. We have not mentioned it much, except for this review.

When I first heard from here that Ubisoft was making 10 I thought that very good chance they would mess it up after seeing what they did with HoMM. I did not like what Ubisoft did with HoMM at all...
But, maybe, because MM is a different game, and that because it seems that previous MMs have always seemed to incorporate new characters, themes, etc. (something that I think Ubisoft feels they need to do), maybe it will be okay, and maybe more suitable for them to make. As long as they don't change things too much, and if they don't make creatures etc. too exaggerated looking. Like you still got to stick to the basic game formula if you know what I mean. Like familiar spells, skills, etc.

The RPG market could very well be saturated. There are not a lot single player CRPGs out there and there may be a reason for that. In any case, Ubisoft has no indication how well a Might and Magic RPG game would sell today, since the last instalment in the series is more than a decade old.Nomad wrote:Once again, MMX is a low-budget market probe. All that Ubisoft feels is the winds of cash flow, man. They're not developers, they're _pro_du_cers_.
So, what would YOU do if you were Ubisoft? Spend millions upon millions on a game you'd had no indication it would sell?
