I've got most wonderful news to share!
Update on the 12th of August 2012
Our beautiful little girl was born on Fri 10th of August at 11:18 am Finnish time (GMT+2). Both the child and her mother are in good health, and so the hospital staff gave us permission to check out three hours ago.
We're now back at home in our modest flat in the city of Vantaa. I just bought some cigars to celebrate the birth of our first-born. It's truly a great joy and a huge blessing to be back home with both my dearest ones in good health and with the wife having suffered no ill effects due to giving birth.
With solidarity, peace and lots of love

Don't worry if things are going badly today. They will be much worse tomorrow.

Family photos :)
Thank you all for your kind words and wishing us all the best. Here are some photos of yours truly with his wife and the little baby girl. I will post two photos for now & will keep updating this thread in the near future with my free time so allowing. I am already "having fun not sleeping", as Thunder Titan humorously instructed me in his well wishing note earlier this page.
Photo #1 That's me, Yurian, tenderly holding my first-born the day after she was born
Photo #2 The proud family man with his wife and baby daughter

Some more baby photos
Photo #3: That's me showing my baby daughter the Heroes III manual. It turned out that she wasn't that interested in it -yet.
Photo#4: Father and daughter sharing a nice Heroic moment together playing Heroes V:Tribes of the East with Wizard Q's AI Mod installed.
Photo #5: I was about to fall asleep after coming home from a hard day's work when my wife had the idea of taking a picture with me and the baby taking a good relaxing nap with our labby doggie Vilja.

Heroes VI is for babies
Photo #6: I decided to hand over the "splendid" HoMM VI to my 6 and 1/2 month old daughter to play with. That's how much I digg the game. It's all real rotten, buggy stuff. I recommend we all stay clear of it.

@darknessfood: Thanks! I'll buy you a pint if I catch up with you in Amsterdam (that's where I'm planning to go again) during my next trip to your country. That's a firm promise. You're not on my CH Members To Meet - list for nothing.

@Kalah: In this special case, as I have no second thoughts whatsoever, I do readily admit being a lousy father. I will have to rectify the situation and hold her in my lap for a little while the next time I have a good Heroes III gaming session.
Cheers to that merry thought!
