What is your avatar and why?

Unread postby Kalah » 08 Jul 2012, 23:07

Tell us about what your avatar here on the forum is and what made you choose it. :)

Mine is a Nature hero from Heroes IV - I've always liked the mysterious look in his eyes and it was the first avatar I used on the Round Table, even before the move from Strategyplanet to our own server.

I took a different one for some years after the move, but have reverted since I felt like a change. Going retro was the thing for me. :)

Mine is the mighty Hero from the incredible HoMM V promotional trailer that unfortunately ended up looking better than the final game lol! Especially the Archangel and Archdevil!

Here's a copy of it if folks don't remember the amazing trailer:

But you're our most honourable Board Guest! :P
(I would say venerable but some people sense it as a offence. )

The avatar which I'm using is/was similar to me loosely. So, there you have it. :)

If you can't figure it out then i suggest a trip to the brain doctor, you might be suffering from an undiagnosed mental defect...

Some say a mischievous creature lives inside Astral's turban, enhancing the old man's magical powers.

I hope, this little creature inside Astral's turban helps me old man enhancing my powers, too. :-D

I was Enathrae (Female Archer from Heroes 4) for the longest time, but decided I wanted a more natural, feminine look. So my present avatar is exactly what I had in mind.

I'm from Heroes 1, which shows how long I've been addicted to the Might and Magic genre.
Maybe one day I'll get a makeover avatar & be young again!!!! :baby:

It would be best if I could just change them all temporarily, but sadly, I'd have to do them one by one manually.

Oh come on, there must be an SQL command that would do this automatically.
