Changing weather has destroyed dutch pear growth and the likes. It really weird last couple of years: a week with only sunshine and 20C can be easily follwed by a week of 4C and rain and wind...

That's just proof that there's no global warming, because if it was real cold wouldnt exist anymore...

Took a ride on my bike today and shot these pics. Have a closer look by clicking the thumbnails below. :)

Drammen has become a beautiful city the last ten years. What was once a filthy industrial centre like Liverpool or Detroit (albeit smaller; population 60.000) has been thoroughly cleaned up through a comprehensive strategy of renewing the city. Part of this plan is the "River park"; a mile long section of the river being lined with a park area.
Along the river bank, there is a walking path interrupted by park areas, beaches and piers. Cafeterias, homes and corporate buildings lie next to the area - don't tell my you wouldn't like to live or work there? ;)

Sunny - not so much sunny but still hot. The real peak will come after week. There is likely that we will be again almost without blue and straw berries. :(

Heavy rain rained just a moment ago, for fifteen minutes, interrupting almost all sunny week.

Storm here. Streets are flooded so much that cars can't move, and pedestrians might as well swim all the way... Well, if all this pollution isn't stopped soon, this will only get worse.

The last week we've had this "unpredictable weather". To the extreme. I'm walking down the street, the sun is shining. I put on my sunglasses. By the time I get to the middle of the street, it gets somewhat hot, and I wonder if I didn't dress too much for that. By the time I reach the end of the street, the sky is completely dark and it pours. I take off my sunglasses and get my umbrella. Turning into another street, I see that the rain is turning into a torrent, and I wonder whether I should have brought clothes that would repel water. In the middle of that street, the rain stops and the sun starts shining again. And then repeat, for days.

Middle Europe - Czech Republic. There's a gentle rainy time on my vacations, according the forecast sun will come too late - with the beginning of a new month. Therefore now it's just a pleasant lurker.

Many blueberries and raspberries, I'm happy. :D
