The third part of Maciek's <i>Heroes V</i> quiz is entitled "<a href="/admin/kalah/Gobelins.h5m">Cyclop haven</a>". Have at it, slip the dogs of war, break out your gaming brains etc.
- A Cyclop has found a castle full of Goblins. It seems he was a very good boy. Naturally, he wants to enter and it is up to Kilghan the Goblin King to safely lead the Cyclop inside.
- Good news: Your town has an upgraded Cyclop dwelling built, so you can choose the Cyclop upgrade. The starting artifact is an Armor of Valor, which is better than, say, an Elemental Waistband or a Phoenix Feather Cape.
- Bad news: Or maybe not that bad. Ask that Cyclop it he's happy to see 700 hostile Goblins.
- Also: Some of the Goblins are upgraded. Kilghan starts at level 5 with some nice skills. There is also an artifact to prevent the Goblins from getting good morale.

H5 Quiz: Round #3
Thank you for yet another fun quiz.
I found this one quite easy. There isn't stated an explicit question in the post, but i assume we were supposed to capture the enemy town.
I started the game on heroic, bought a blood-eye cyclops, a blacksmith, a ballista and a first aid tent. After picking-up the artifacts one can simply attack the town and stride into the fray with the cyclops. Firstly your high morale and divine guidance combined with the enemies low morale enables the cyclops to attack swiftly without retaliation, and loads of blood-rage absorb most of the incoming damage (the towers deal about 2 points of damage).
The crux of this matter however, is that cyclops can, apparently (to my surprise), eat enemy goblins to restore their health, and this enables us the win the combat easily

H5 Quiz: Round #3
why not untamed cyclops? he would help demolish the castle faster.
H5 Quiz: Round #3
No need to demolish the castle. Goblins (we can't really expect too much of the poor buggers) ran out to meet the cyclops.
That said, however, I'm sure the untamed cyclops would work just as well. The crux of this fight, is as stated, that cyclops can eat enemy goblins to replenish their health.

H5 Quiz: Round #3
Yes, the key is to make the Cyclop eat Goblins and both upgrades work just as well. Warmachines also give a little boost. I haven't tried with an unupgraded Cyclop, but I guess it would work too.
