Patch 1.4 bugs --- please REPORT bugs here

1) Skills/spells scrollbar bug (which occurs when switching between All skills/Tears/Blood/Balanced ---> NOT FIXED.

2) Archlich Special does not heal target friendly stack if the enemy stack dies (and sometimes even if it does not).

3) Dual monitor + Alt-Tab bug ---> NOT FIXED.
Details of bug: Run game, start a mission.
Alt+Tab out of the game into Windows.
Switch back to game again.
Result: Cursor now goes to 2nd monitor if you move it to the right. So, you can only scroll to the right via the Right arrow key on the keyboard, or via the minimap, but not via the border mouse scroll.
Expected: Cursor to stay on the 1st/main monitor only, so that you can scroll to the right.

4) When trying to save a game, the game crashes!! ---> NF
This usually happens when I have some web browser running with a few tabs open. I think it is a conflict with Adobe Flash or other video or ads in the browser. And/or conflict with a chat program (ICQ/AIM/Skype/etc).
Or, it might be caused by trying to save too quickly, before the scroll bar has finished updating (loading all save games into the list).

5) Slow exit time - NOT fixed. Takes 20-30+ seconds to exit.
With 1.2 exit time was under 5 seconds.

6) Blazing Glories Special ability loses troops, although in the description of it it says they should return after battle. ---> NF
Expected: To return the lost troops after battle OR change the description to match the way it works.

7) Meditation spell restores much more mana (50%) than it is supposed to. (Description says 15%.) ---> NF

8) Advanced Merchant artifacts change on Save/Load ---> NF
Expected: Artifacts to stay the same on Save/Load.

9) Exploit with buying artifacts/scrolls from Artifact Seller building on adventure map to a remote hero. ---> NF

10) Sometimes can't view enemy hero stats (by right-clicking the hero) in a battle. ---> NF

11) When you "Slow" an enemy unit, then right-click it, the description for movement says Slow +2. It should say Slow -2.
Same with Haste on your own units, or Haste cast on the enemy units by the enemy hero, or any spells/skills/etc that change creature speed, such as some Sanctuary buildings/etc.

12) (AI bug) When attacking a town/fort with no hero and only some troops, the enemy troops will stay behind the walls and not attack, although they would cause a lot of damage, if they did.
They just defend and then attack when you have killed most of them with your shooters and their attack won't cause any major damage any more.
EXPECTED: The defending enemy troops to go out of the gate and attack you at once.

13) Taunt skill is too powerful - sometimes it reduces damage to 0.
Should only reduce to 99%, not 100% or more.

14) Special offers (such as get 10 crystals for 10 ore, or get 3000 gold for 10 wood/etc) are gone from the Advanced Market(s) on Save/Load.
Expected: The offers to stay in the towns they have not been used in.

+ When listing in the spell book on the battlefield and then returning on the overall map, then the spellbook is not accessible at all for use town portal (anything in fact, but as might hero it knows only three spells, two coming from the town.)

+ - Spellbook placement widget is inactive (greyed out) and cannot be used to access the spells. The keyboard shortcuts works though. (Till the point nr. 1) - Known bug through all game versions!!


- You cannot create placement widget from "Kingdom Overview" and some other screens, like Dynasty Weapons Bonuses or Bestiary - although the possibility is built in the game. Why?

+ - Marks a bug.
- - Makrs an illogical thingy.

Worthy of check:
Another trick / exploit, this seems to be a oversight on the developer's part, but Uriel and his troops can't do any structural damage, which means that abyss worms are invunerable against them, but even then the guards will keep trying to hit the worm to free the unit eatten... so this means that with Abyss worm you essentially remove the guards completely from the fight and let you focus on Uriel.

It happens often, keyboard shortcut for opening the spellbook stops to react. There certainly will be more causes. It affects all your heroes.

It's not forever, usually it starts to work again and then stop and so on, so on.

Anybody will spot it easily if you disable HUD and play the game for a longer time.

Both bugs which I described are connected and known for a long time.

OK then - I am opening the spell book via the mouse, maybe it fails only with the keyboard.

EDIT: How do you disable the HUD? Edit config files with a text editor??
