As concepts they're as distinct as knife and knife wound...Pitsu wrote:now the only question left is how much does rabies differ from rabies virus.

Yes, and bless is a verb while blessing is a noun altogether. The meaning of knife is the same for both cases, even if context adds some flavor.ThunderTitan wrote: As concepts they're as distinct as knife and knife wound...
Anyway, i refuse to accept such combinations.

That's why i used the word concept, and not something with grammar in it...Pitsu wrote: Yes, and bless is a verb while blessing is a noun altogether.
And that's why i used an example where you can take out the word knife in the second one and the concept remains the same... wound.Pitsu wrote:The meaning of knife is the same for both cases, even if context adds some flavor.

Seems to me, that there is one rule that makes problems and has led to discussions in each previous round: the rule 7, but the reason for this troubles in the most cases is rule 7 combined with the +5 bonus rule. So a player always strives to risk this "tightrope act" for the bonus.
So I think it was better to cut off this +5 bonus for good...
I hope you all agree to a compromise that for this Caladont 5.0 the bonus for using a whole word is eliminated. That means that ThunderTitan gets only the 5 points for the the 5 letters in his "lyssaviruses". Also Gnom's bonus is taken away.

Well isn't that mighty convenient...Koni wrote:I'd prefer playing, instead of discussing the rules.
