Sorry, TT, blessing is evidently against rule 7, so it has to be penalized. And I can't see in "blessing" a completely differing meaning of Avonu's "bless".
rule 7) A word cannot be strongly tied with the previous word (meaning its meaning has to completely differ from all of the previous words meanings) if it's used whole (so adding a suffix ly, ing, ed, or anything like that isn't allowed.
Penalty points:
ThunderTitan
Words used:
encounter, countered, redone, oneiric, rickshaw, shawled, lederhosen, seniority, typical, picalilli, lilliputian, angry, gryse, septum, tumble, umbles, bless, blessing, singers, erstwhile, (ileum)
new score:
Kalah 13+3 = 16
Koni 9 + 5 = 14 (+3)
jeff 3 + 4 = 7
TT 8 -1 = 7
Avonu 2 + 4 = 6
GreatEm 3 + 3 = 6
Pitsu 4
ShadowLib 3
ileum

Not strongly tied and meaning has to completely differ kinda contradict eachother, but under the rule as it stands the words are too close, even if they tend to have different conotations... oh well.Koni wrote:Sorry, TT, blessing is evidently against rule 7, so it has to be penalized. domestic
EDIT:
Wait, wasn't this 3 before:
11) You cannot post two words without at least 4 posts between them.
Rule Changed: May 5, 2008
Or was that another game?

here
it was 5 at the beginning, and then the rule was changed to 4.
Sorry, TT, but that means your second penalty.
Attention: you can post now at once, you needn't have to wait anewed for 4 posters between your last one.
@Kalah: You should have continued with TT's "domestic", and not with Avonu's "dome". So you can't get the +5 bonus für using the whole word. I give you 4 for dome, but no penalty for the wrong start.
To make it clear once more. If a player is penalized, regardless the reason, the next player has to continue with this wrong word. [take it as a new rule 16]
So I continue with tedder
Words used:

TT
The new score is:
Kalah 16+4 = 20
Koni 14+3+3 = 20
Avonu 6+3 = 9
GreatEm 6+3 = 9
ThunderT 7+3-1 = 9
